We’ve said it before, and we’ll say it again: for Universal Works, it’s the strong friendships and supportive networks that enable us to do what we do. We are blessed to have a close circle of trusted suppliers, agents, and friends, each with their part to play in our mission to dress the world with 'Peace, Love, and Soul.' As part of this, twice a year when the sample collection arrives and before we head to international trade shows, we invite our international agents for a preview and an evening of good food and even better company.
Our international agents sell UW all across the world on our behalf, and they made the journey to London for our biannual get-together again last week. This time, we hosted them at our showroom in Holborn, Central London. Not only did we give them a sneak peek of our AW24 collection but also a glimpse of what we’ve got in store for our upcoming 15-year celebrations (yes, you heard that right; how time flies!). The product walkthrough was followed by wine and cheese before a good old curry—an indulgent evening indeed.
Of course, it’s about the clothes first and foremost, but we also want to show our gratitude to our agents, get to know them better, and make their visit worthwhile. For us, this means having fun, bonding, and generally getting everyone excited about the brand ahead of the selling season in January.
To our agents, we really enjoyed hanging out with you and want to thank all of you for making the trip over. For those who couldn’t be there, we look forward to seeing you during the selling season.
