Our Re-Works visible repairs service came from from a collective belief in the importance of extending the lifespan of our clothing. In our eyes something that's worth wearing, is worth repairing. We are proud to say that we've just sent off our 100th Universal Re-Works visible repair, so we caught up with Gay on her thoughts about the Universal Re-Works visible repairs programme:
"I always encourage people to go for a visible repair when they choose to mend their clothing with me. It's like giving the garment a badge of honour. It's a sign that they are taking care of the item by wanting to extend its life cycle."
Gay goes on to say, "UW's workwear roots and silhouettes seem to seamlessly align with visible repairs. I'm really enjoying the diversity of repairs that keep coming my way. The UW. fans appear to have an adventurous spirit in terms of what they're looking for, which always keeps things interesting for me and Araluen [the UW. customer service guru and right hand Re-Works man]."

It's great to see our Re-Works initiative gain momentum elsewhere as more and more people opt for the service. With this in mind we have now partnered up with London based Janeelle founder of @white_weft, who will be taking care of any soon to be Re-Works projects dropped off at our London stores.
