On Saturday 16th July, UW Co-Founder David Keyte and team were in the fine city of Birmingham (U.K) for a good old fashioned bday bash to celebrate Liquor Store's 10-year anniversary. Universal Works and Liquor Store go a long way back; in fact, it was the location of our first ever partnership store which opened back in 2017.
Not that we've ever needed much of an excuse to throw a party but it was particularly great to hang out with our Birmingham customers and friends, over some ice-cold beers while Waste Studio churned out some seriously limited edition, Future Friendship Project, live screen-printed T-Shirts. 100% of the profits from the T-s were donated to We Go Outside Too, a Birmingham-based charity with a mission to empower the inner city Black Community to experience the physical, mental and spiritual benefits of the great outdoors.
On the day we launched a (very) limited-edition capsule collection; two iconic Universal Works styles; the Dockside Overshirt and the Military Chino in two colourways a piece, and only ten of each available exclusively at Liquor Store Birmingham. There are still a couple left in stock so hurry along to the Colmore Row Store sharpish, to bag your slice of UW history.
