In the second film of our series “Works”, we filmed talented architects from Studio MUTT, Graham Burn, James Crawford and Alexander Turner. The trio met as a competitive bunch of architecture students at Liverpool University. Years later, still good friends and with heaps of experience in the industry, they decided to take a leap of faith and set up an architecture practice together.
MUTT has worked closely with Universal Works to develop an architectural language for our stores. Their approach centres on three key facets of UW: the context, the crafted and the personal.
A timely but chance meeting in our store sparked conversations around design. We liked MUTT's ideas and creative energy, and it certainly helped that they were wearing Universal Works!
